暨南大学法学院
暨南大学法学院1930年创立于上海，当时设有法律系、经济系、外交专科和行政法学科组。四十年代著名法学家冉荣跃担任院长。1949年暨大法学院随校合并复旦大学，2001年在广州重建。 2004年成立华南地区首家知识产权学院。2011年，法学院和知识产权学院合并成为暨南大学法学院/知识产权学院。
学院下设法学系和知识产权系，以及知识产权与法治研究中心、港澳基本法研究中心、网络与电子商务法律研究室和法学理论等10个研究机构。知识产权与法治研究中心系广东省普通高校人文社会科学重点研究基地。

Jinan University Law School
The Law School of Jinan University was founded in 1930 in Shanghai with the departments of Law Economics Diplomacy and Administrative Law. In the 1940s Ran Rongyue a famous jurist served as president. In 1949 the Law School of Jinan University merged with Fudan University and was rebuilt in Guangzhou in 2001. In 2004 the first intellectual property institute in South China was established. In 2011 the School of Law and the School of Intellectual Property merged to become the School of Law/School of Intellectual Property of Jinan University.
The school consists of Law Department Intellectual Property Department and 10 research institutions including Intellectual Property and Rule of Law Research Center Hong Kong and Macao Basic Law Research Center Internet and E-Commerce Law Research Office and Legal Theory. The Research Center for Intellectual Property and Rule of Law is a key research base for humanities and social sciences of ordinary universities in Guangdong Province.
